I had a Family Session with the Chikerotis Family on the first of August. I knew from teaching with Lisa for 10 years, the last 3 of which she was across the hall from me, that Lisa had impeccable style. She is one of those people who always looks like she walked out of a magazine. (She could even make spirit wear look fabulous.) Her room was one of those classrooms you see on Pinterest. You know the ones that has a theme every year and every single thing in the room follows that style. She would buy fabric to cover the bulletin boards and tables to make sure that the classroom could feel as homey as, well a classroom could be. This is why I knew she would nail it on the clothing for the session.
My main rules are:
1. Mom find something that makes you feel fantastic first.
2. Coordinate (not match) everything off of that piece.
3. NO NEON.
4. Add accessories.
(When you book with me I send you a complete styling guide and we have a wardrobe consultation.)
Before the shoot when I asked about wardrobe she sent me 2 of the 5 outfits and I knew she nailed it. So I was excited for the session and was praying to the photography gods for a gorgeous sky to match the outfits. Boy, it did not disappoint.
